Track 1 of IIWCPC is dedicated to encouraging participation from girl students. However, there is also a Track 2 that is open to all students, regardless of gender, ensuring inclusivity for everyone interested.
Having some background in programming can be beneficial, but it is not a strict requirement. The competition is thoughtfully structured to accommodate participants of all proficiency levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned coders. Comprehensive resources and guidance will be provided to help you prepare effectively, no matter your starting point.
Yes, you are welcome to join with friends! Although the competition is primarily designed for individual participation, we highly encourage forming study groups or collaborative teams for preparation. Working together can enhance your learning experience and provide mutual support throughout the event.
No, participation in IIWCPC is completely free of charge. Our mission is to make competitive programming accessible to all women and students interested in the field, eliminating any financial barriers to entry.
Yes, accommodation will be provided for eligible finalists attending the on-campus finale. Partial travel reimbursement will also be provided, subject to the event guidelines and verification requirements shared with selected participants.
You are free to use any programming language you are comfortable with. The competition platform offers support for all major languages, including but not limited to C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, and many others.
The main competition is scheduled to take place over a single weekend. Nevertheless, we recommend allocating some time beforehand for preparation. We will provide a variety of practice materials and resources that you can utilize at your own pace to ensure you feel confident and ready.
